Also, it's not the computer, because I can put in a music CD, and it will play just fine. WAV, (I can't remember) and I could hear it when I played it on Windows Media Player. I made a little test song by dragging in some loops, and I exported it to. Even if both are playing at the same time! I have checked the box that says "Release audio device in background". I can play sound on other things -for instance, YouTube- and sound will work on that, but not on studio one. I can see in the corner the blue lines on the master volume thing are bouncing, so it's trying to play sound, but none is coming out. I start a new song, and I can drag in loops and such, but no sound will play. I am using NI Symphony Series and don't have the same options that the other poster had).I'm sorry for wasting time here but I spent all day trying to sort this out.Hello everyone! My problem is simple- if I open up studio one, it will load up correctly, and will bring me to the menu screen. (I saw another post that was similar where Spitfire was used. I did run a batch 16 stereo in Kontakt so maybe something got corrupted there? (It seems Kontakt has allocated 4 channels to my 4 Audient interface channels and. I went into my KK routings settings under preferences and I noticed that my Audient Id14 interface (which only has 4 outputs) Output 3L 3R to "not connected" and I could not connect them because I would lose my 1L 1R etc. I have audio from 1/2 & 3/4 but nothing from 5/6. However when I select on the other tracks for outputs 3/4, /5,6 from Kontakt there is nothing highlighted on the console. I notice when I select on my S1 KK Track list for 1/2 (the master channel?), the corresponding channel strip is highlighted. All volumes are up, correct MIDI channel and output is selected but nothing. There is a signal coming out the first two instruments of my Kontakt multi but not my third and nothing is coming out of S1 on a Mac. I can get the first two outputs going (Chanels 1/2 and 3/4) but I cannot get a sound out of 5/6 even though I have 5/6 activated on the consoles instruments. I'm using all new Komplete Kontrol (KK) running a Kontakt 6 library. I have a problem in Studio one 5 and being new I cannot decipher the explanation given above by Maarten (my fault). I havent been using Studio One very long, so I guess its a matter of fail and learn. Kontakts channels in the arrange window are hidden behind the console window, so with the console window open, you cant see that there's a difference for Kontakt's channels in those two different windows, it seems like nothing has changed, because the change is only visible in the hidden part of the arrange window and in the console windows it seems that those buttons are not usable for other channels than the master. Just clicking on a channel in the arrange window, activates recording or monitoring for that channel, or when the master channel is active, the recording and monitoring buttons on other channels can be activated separately, but there's no visible difference in the console window, as these buttons are greyed out! When the master channel's corressponding channel in the arrange window is activated, it has the record and monitor buttons activated, but the other channels, arent activated at the same time, however these channels do not have those 2 buttons greyed out, so these buttons have to be used to activate the recording and/or monitoring, manually. In the Console window, the Kontakt master channel automatically has the monitor button activated, while those of the other channels are greyed out and those seem to be the same as the corresponding channels in the arrange window, but this is not the case. I found the problem! From what David said, Ive been looking again for a difference in the settings, between sound and no sound and it tool a while, but I managed to find it.
